Still Life in Tehran

I know it’s internetly “wrong”, but I want this picture to be larger than the post’s width.

This picture always gives me a pleasant shiver, and the bigger it is the deeper I feel it.

Still Life in Tehran

Still Life in Tehran

I took this picture in Tehran, shortly after falling in love, and after a long time with no inspiration.

Flowers with this type of seedheads that blow with the wind always remind me of the deceased. We Iranians like to be melancholic. It’s good for the soul.

The way the light plays with this dry plant almost makes me believe there is a god, though there’s no way this God would want a whole nation to be oppressed in his name.
